The private Pig Island tour includes a speedboat journey to Pig Island with a snorkeling stop at Koh Tan, refreshing water, snorkeling equipment (mask & snorkel) and accident insurance. Roundtrip hotel transfers can be booked for an extra price. You can opt for a morning or afternoon slot, and the tour is available every day if the weather permits.

Pickup times08:0013:00If you booked a transfer, our comfortable, air-conditioned minivan will bring you to Tong Krut in the south, from where your private speedboat will depart.
If you didn't book a transfer, please self-arrive to the pier 15 minutes before the tour starting time.
On arrival we board the speedboat for a private ride to Koh Tan, the island next to Pig Island. It will take around 15 minutes to get to the snorkeling reef.
The captain will stop the speedboat near a coral reef close to the shores of Koh Tan. Here, you can go for a swim or go snorkeling with the provided masks and snorkels. The best time of the year to go snorkeling here is between February to October.
Once everyone is on board again, we'll head over to the nearby island of Koh Madsum, which is also known as Pig Island. Drinking water is provided on board.
After about 10 minutes we reach Pig Island. Here, you have the chance to feed them, enjoy some time in the water together, or just kick back on the sand. There's also a beach bar where you can grab a cool drink and simple Thai dishes or snacks.
Once we've had ample time to enjoy the company of the pigs, we'll reboard the speedboat and set off for the final stretch back to Koh Samui. The return trip should take no longer than 15-20 minutes.

Sure! The tour is private, which means you're welcome to bring your own food and beverages. Each boat is equipped with a cooler filled with ice to ensure your drinks stay chilled. Additionally, you can order drinks and snacks at the beach bar on Koh Madsum (Pig Island) at a low price.
If it's raining, the tour will proceed, as snorkeling and visiting Pig Island can be a unique experience in the rain. However, if the sea is too rough and the waves are too high for safe travel in the speedboat, we will have to cancel or postpone the tour. In that case we'll suggest another date for the tour or refund any fees you've paid.
Lunch or dinner isn't included in the trip; we can organize a Thai-style lunch or dinner at a beachside restaurant upon returning from the tour. This can be arranged for THB 300/person. If you'd like to add a meal to your experience, please inform us at checkout, and we'll set up a tasty Thai-style menu for you.
The best time to visit Pig Island & Koh Taen is right after the rainy season (February-October). The seas are usually calm and we’ll get plenty of sunshine. The best months are April & May, but keep in mind it will get hot on the island so bring plenty of (reef safe) sunscreen!
A deposit is required for all private tours if you chose to pay cash on tour option. After you submit your booking, we will send you an email with deposit payment instructions. Please note that your booking is not confirmed until we receive the deposit. This deposit helps us secure the boat and arrange all services specifically for your group. We use secure and reliable payment channels to ensure your information is protected.
Yes. Cancelling or moving your booking to another date is free up to 24 hours before the tour starts, and anything you have paid is refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time are non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded. If we have to cancel, for example for weather or safety, you can move to another date or take a full refund.
To keep the ride safe, this tour is not suitable for back problems, heart conditions or pregnant women. If that could apply to anyone in your group, contact us before booking and we will help you find a better fit.
