Put on a life jacket, pick a seat and we're ready to start the private pig island tour! The boat ride to Koh Tan takes about 15-20 minutes.
The captain anchors the boat close to a reef near Koh Tan. You can go swimming, snorkeling or relaxing on the boat here. We provide masks & snorkels, and you are free to go snorkeling.
When everyone is back on the boat we make our way to the neighbouring island of Koh Madsum, also known as Pig Island.
After a very short boat ride we arrive at pig island. The island is home to the famous group of pigs. You can feed them, spend time in the water with them or relax at the beach. There is a beach bar with cold drinks and snacks.
After quite some time with the pigs we board the longtail boat for the last leg back to Koh Samui. This trip should take no more than 20 minutes.

Yes, as it's a private tour you can bring your own food & drinks. There is a cooling box with ice on every boat to keep your drinks cool. You can also enjoy drinks and snacks at the beach bar on Koh Madsum (Pig Island) for a reasonable price.
If it’s just raining, we'll still go out on this tour as it is a special experience as well to go snorkeling and to visit pig island in the rain. When the waves are too high for us to go out with the longtail boat, we'll cancel the tour and offer you an alternative date or refund the paid fees.
The best time to visit Pig Island & Koh Taen is right after the rainy season (February - October). The seas are usually calm and we’ll get plenty of sunshine. The best months are April and May, but keep in mind it will get hot on the island so bring plenty of (reef safe) sunscreen!

We rented our private boat for a morning trip to pig island. It was a great trip, not too busy and the kids loved snorkeling and feeding the pigs. Defo a must do here on Samui

The pigs were cute, but they didn’t seem very interested unless you had food for them. The beach was okay, but it wasn’t as nice as I hoped. The boat ride was fine, but the whole tour felt a bit overpriced for what it was. I’d only recommend it if you really love pigs.

The tour was good, but the island was smaller than I expected. The pigs were adorable, and the beach was relaxing, but there wasn’t much else to do. The guides were friendly and kept things running smoothly. It’s a nice trip if you want something quick and easy.

This was a good experience overall. The pigs were cute, but they didn’t stay around for long, which was a little disappointing. The island itself is really beautiful, though, and the boat ride was fun. Bring water shoes if you plan to swim—there are a few rocks.

We enjoyed the tour, but I was hoping for a bit more interaction with the pigs. The beach was clean and quiet, and the boat ride was smooth. Our guide was great and explained a lot about the area. It’s worth doing, just don’t expect to spend hours with the pigs.
